Seattle, Wash. (Feb. 16, 2012) - Popular speaker and first-time published author Dawn Jones has found herself topping a list that includes such superstar peers as Dale Carnegie, Dave Ramsey and Stephen Covey with her new release, Top 7 Personality Challenges: Successful Communication Secrets for Differing Personality Types, which recently hit No. 1 on the iTunes Top 100 Business Audiobooks chart. Top 7 Personality Challenges, which was released in January, is published by Made for Success.
Jones, a popular international speaker and business consultant, topped the Business Audiobooks chart that also included Nine Things Successful People Do Differently by Heidi Grant Halvorson; perennial top seller The Art Of War by Sun Tzu; the eagerly anticipated new release, Inside Apple: How America's Most Admired - and Secretive - Company Really Works by Adam Lashinsky; and Ramsey's The Total Money Makeover in the Top 5. The 4 Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferris; Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People & the 8th Habit; Living An Exceptional Life by Jim Rohn; Carnegie's classic How To Win Friends & Influence People; and Good To Great: Why Some Companies Make The Leap ... And Others Don't by Jim Collins rounded out the Top 10.
"As I was growing up, I was definitely influenced by many impactful speakers and authors, men of faith such as Zig Ziglar and John Maxwell, mentors with whom I now share company in this chart," Jones says. "As a Christian, my faith is who I am and I thank God for the privilege of using the talent he has given me to impact people's lives, both personally and professionally. I am humbled and awed by the success of Top 7 Personality Challenges. I also believe the information in this audiobook is needed by all of us as we seek to better communicate with the people around us, whether they are co-workers, family or friends." "Wow! It's unheard of for anyone to go to the top of the chart with a single title!" says Tom Ziglar, CEO of Ziglar Inc. and son of Zig Ziglar, referring to Jones' status as a first-time author.
"Dawn Jones has accomplished a tremendous feat - not just as a first-time author but for any author - to be in this rarified company along with Stephen Covey, Dale Carnegie and Dave Ramsey," says Made for Success Publishing President Bryan Heathman. "We are so proud to be working with Dawn, who is THE up and coming business writer and speaker in today's market."
In addition to hitting No.1 on the iTunes Top 100 Business Audiobooks chart, Top 7 Personality Challenges reached the No.1 position on the iTunes Store Top 10 Audiobooks - Business charts in both the U.S. and Australia. The title also has reached the Top 10 on the iTunes Top 100 Audiobooks (All Genres) chart in the top tier company of Stephen King's The Gunslinger: The Dark Tower I; Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games trilogy; Walter Issacson's biography, Steve Jobs; Jennifer Weimer's Recalculating: An eShort Story; Steig Larsson's The Girl Who Played With Fire, sequel to The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo; Bill O'Reilly's Killing Lincoln; and Joshua N. Weiss' The Negotiator in You: At Work. Jones' title sat ahead of such best-sellers as Kathryn Stockett's The Help, which was recently made into a hit Hollywood movie, and Tina Fey's Bossypants.
